PVK/HJT Tandem Technology

Dasun will also actively deploy disruptive PVK/HJT tandem technology to further break through the imaginary margin of photovoltaic cell conversion efficiency, and is expected to achieve mass production conversion efficiency of 26.5-27.5% in 2024-2025. PVK/HJT tandem is also the only technology that can achieve >30% efficiency  in the future.

Process

On the basis of the existing silicon process, using the equipment that has been invested, only the simple process of perovskite is added to prepare PVK/HJT tandem cell, and the efficiency can reach more than 33%; The process and equipment can be seamlessly connected, which is more conducive to the upgrade of silicon cell production lines.

Dasun's Technical Foundation & Goals

Dasun has developed a highly efficient 1.68eV bandgap PVK cell with an open circuit voltage of 1.28eV; in addition, the company is also laying out core processes and materials to further tap the potential of PVK/HJT tandem technology.
